Graduate Record Examination (GRE) is a computer based standardized test which is an admission requirement for most graduate schools in the U.S. and Germany. This test was launched in the year 1949 and since then administered by the ETS (Educational Testing Service) . The test measures an individual's quantitative ability, critical thinking, verbal reasoning and analytical writing skills that have been acquired over a long period of time.
The International English Language Testing System or IELTS is an international standardized test of English language proficiency of non-native English language speakers. There are two versions of the test: the Academic Module (AC) and the General Training Module (GT). The Academic module is for people wanting to follow an Academic course in abroad and the General Training Module is usually for people wanting to follow a non-academic course or for immigration.
